Format:
  1. 01 Standard Captain's Mode draft will be used for all matches.
  2. 02 The Top 10 highest rank players will be the captains of the teams.
  3. 03 The captains will be selecting their teammates from the available pool of players for each role required in their team.
  4. 04 The teams with the highest points in each group will qualify for the playoffs. Top 2 teams from each group will qualify to playoffs.
  5. 05 In the event of a tie on the leader board (for 2nd place), the head-to-head matchup will be checked first. If still tied, the two teams will play a BO1 to determine who advances on the leader board.
  6. 06 In the event of a three-way tie based on head-to-head results, the tied teams will play a round of BO1 matches. If teams remain tied, the team with the fastest victory time among the tie-break matches will advance.
  7. 07 Semi-finals will be single-elimination Best of 3 (BO3) matches.
  8. 08 The Grand Finals will be a Best of 5 (BO5) series, where our champion will be crowned.
  9. 09 All standard Dota 2 competitive rules apply.
Registration:
  1. 01 All teams must complete registration on or before 12th of June.
  2. 02 The entry fee is Rs 150 per player and must be paid to secure a tournament spot.
  3. 03 UPI ID will be in the Website, Official poster, and Registration form.
  4. 04 Once registered the Captains of each team will be added into a WhatsApp group and will be the main point of communication with the league organizers
  5. 05 Any concerns regarding match timings, entry fee and registration please contact the Organizers.
  6. 06 No refunds for tournament withdrawal
  7. 07 Prize Money will be distributed via UPI only
Schedule:
  1. 01 The tournament will be held on weekends. Matches are played mostly on Saturdays & Sundays (and) Fridays are reserved for any conflicting circumstances and Tie-breaks.
  2. 02 The match schedule is available on the website and also sent to the SS Tournament discussion Discord page.
  3. 03 Conflicts regarding match timing and schedule should be discussed between the two captains and the organizers 3 days prior to the match day.
  4. 04 Tournament standings will be updated on the website shortly after each match concludes.
  5. 05 Teams must assemble no later than 10 minutes before the scheduled match time.
  6. 06 Failure to assemble even after 10 minutes will result in Reserve time penalty and any later will result in a forfeit of the game.
Player and Account Rules:
  1. 01 All players must play on their original, main Steam accounts.
  2. 02 All players must have a Discord account. Voice comms will only be in the official Tournament Discord.
  3. 03 Smurfing, account sharing, or using alternate accounts is strictly prohibited.
  4. 04 Use of cheats, scripts, or macros will lead to immediate disqualification from the tournament and future events.
  5. 05 No exploitation of game bugs or glitches.
  6. 06 Any violation will result in either points deduction, immediate disqualification, and/or forfeiture of any prizes.
  7. 07 Pausing is allowed only for legitimate technical issues or emergencies.
  8. 08 Excessive or tactical pausing is prohibited.
  9. 09 If a player disconnects due to some issue, he has to reconnect within 5 minutes or the game continues.
Stand-In Rules
  1. 01 If a player is unable to attend a match and informs the team beforehand, the remaining four players may choose to forfeit that specific match and continue the tournament with the same roster.
  2. 02 If a player fails to attend a match without prior notice, the team may replace that player with a stand-in of a similar MMR.
  3. 03 Tournament organizers will conduct an MMR and account verification of the stand-in before approving the replacement.
  4. 04 The replacement player must pay the required entry fee before being added to the roster and will be entitled to the team's winnings.
  5. 05 Any player who leaves the team without proper notice will not receive a refund of their registration fee and forfeits all rights to any winnings earned by the team.
  6. 06 Tournament organizers reserve the right to make the final decision on all roster changes and player replacements.
General Rules
  1. 01 The game ends when the opponent's Ancient is destroyed or GG is called by the players.
  2. 02 Harassment against players, organizers, or casters will not be tolerated.
  3. 03 Vulgar or abusive language in IGN or all-chat is strictly prohibited.
  4. 04 All players must maintain a respectful and sportsmanlike attitude toward opponents, teammates, organizers, and spectators.
  5. 05 Griefing behavior is unacceptable and may result in immediate disqualification upon review of sufficient evidence.
  6. 06 Disputes must be raised immediately to the match referee.
  7. 07 The decisions of tournament administrators are final. Arguing, threatening, or harassing admins may lead to immediate disqualification.
